New Mercies Farms hosts a variety of events throughout the year. Each event is designed to develop connection and enhance relationships. Events may be geared to individuals or the family as a whole.
New Mercies Farms currently offers:
This group meets the 1st Saturday of every month. It is open to any family wanting to attend. It is a family friendly event designed to provide opportunity for interaction and connection in fun ways. Look below for this month theme.
Connection Groups
Children practice coping skills & build resiliency in a disarming, natural setting. Groups of 5-10 children meet weekly or bi-weekly with an adult leader for 1.5-2 hours. Register below if interested in joining a nurture group coming Spring 2019.
Nurture Groups
These events are geared towards adults who want to become more effective in their family relationships. Events will be scheduled throughout the year. Subscribe below to be notified of upcoming events.

Time is TBDA nurture group is a caring, safe place where structured, purposeful activities are designed to discover and develop strengths. Activities are adapted to fit the specific needs of the children. The overall message of group is "You CAN do it!"

July 4th-Quill Pen & Ink making-Come discover how our founding fathers signed the Declaration of Independence. Make a quill pen and ink to take home.
Aug. 1st-Creek and Critters-Come wonder the creek and explore the variety of creatures that live there.
Sept. 5th-Butterfly Bingo: Let’s discover the winged beauties found in Missouri. We’ll explore plants that can attract butterflies to your yard, and the benefits butterflies have on our environment.
Oct. 3th-Lumberjack Days: Learn to use a 2 man crosscut saw, watch a log splitting competition, and pie cook-off.
Nov. 7th-Turkey Encounter: Come out and meet Tom the Turkey, and create turkey art to celebrate the season.
Dec.5th-Ornament Making: Let’s get ready to decorate by making some new ornaments for your tree or to give as gifts to those you love.
