About the event
During this event we will learn about 2 of Missouri's favorite animals: the bluebird (Missouri's state bird), and the brown bat. We will begin with a nature walk to observe bat and bluebird houses on the property. We will discuss habitat, placement of the nest box, how to protect from predators, general care, and upkeep of the nest box. Then it's back to the woodshop to create your own nest box to take home. Attendance will be limited to ensure enough materials and work space. Pre-registration is required. Sign up today!
