Duck, Duck, Chicken!

If your like me you're busy. It's not enough coffee, too little sleep, and way too much to to do kind of BUSY! Often it's not just at this time of year, but all year! Sometimes God slows me down. Like when I want to rev up the driveway, running late for work because I had to scrap the snow off the windshield and the ducks are in the way. So I sit and wait, reflecting that no matter what is happening they are ducks. They do what ducks do-whether rain or shine. Giving glory to their maker in the way they were meant to do it. They're not rushed, hurried, or out of touch with what's important. They're ducks who know how to be ducks. May God grant me the same wisdom. To know who I am and what my purpose is, no matter what. So when I find myself running around like a chicken with my head cut off, getting upset at my family, and feeling like I can never get it all done, let me remember what is truly important. Pause-Breathe-Know that my creator made me who I am and that is enough.
